Today marks an important milestone in Kisii University,s journey towards advancing Africa,s research and academic excellence as the Vice Chancellor welcomed the first cohort of HERI Africa-sponsored students embarking on various Master,s and PhD programmes at the University. Their orientation represents more than the beginning of an academic journey; it signals the unfolding of a bold continental vision anchored in research, collaboration, innovation and strategic partnerships. HERI Africa seeks to bring Africa together through purposeful research initiatives that address shared challenges and shape sustainable solutions for the continent. At Kisii University, we are not merely witnessing the future; we are helping to shape it.
