School of Health Sciences receives 50million worth of Equipment

All the way from Boston, Massachusetts, after months of putting in incredible work, today, Kisii University proudly celebrate,s a remarkable milestone for the Department of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology following the successful in-kind arrival of equipment worth over 50 million Kenya Shillings from Seeding Labs, Boston, USA. This achievement, made possible through a winning proposal developed by Dr. Eric Omwenga under the visionary leadership of our Vice Chancellor, is a testament to innovation, self-sacrifice and commitment to advancing scientific research. The equipment will provide critical infrastructure that will significantly strengthen research in infectious diseases while enriching the teaching and learning experience within the School of Health Sciences. Even more exciting is the emerging possibility of introducing molecular diagnostics capabilities in our laboratories, opening new frontiers in research, training, and healthcare impact. Kisii University continues to strengthen its health niche with every passing day.
