SASS Workshop: Climate Adaptation and Resilience Strategies

In a life-changing project dubbed the Climate Adaptation and Resilience Strategies (CLARS), the School of Arts and Social Sciences today conducted a breaking in workshop aimed at creating a transformative research initiative that seeks to examine the intersection of gender, social inequalities, and climate-related socio-economic vulnerabilities. In partnership with McMaster University, Kisii University represented by Co-investigator, Dr. Peter Gutwa aim to prioritize the active involvement of marginalized communities, including persons with disabilities, migrants with irregular status, individuals with diverse gender identities and/or expressions, and older peoples, in shaping climate adaptation, resilience strategies, and migration policies.
