The Vice Chancellor today joined the Send off Ceremony for the JICA Scholarship 2025/26 Recipients, organized by JICA and the Embassy of Japan, celebrating scholars whose ambitions are taking them beyond borders and into new spaces of knowledge, discovery and transformation. Among them is Kisii University,s very own Alex Mutua of Nutrition and Dietetics, who departs on 12th September 2026 for Japan to pursue a two year Master,s programme. Alex,s journey is more than a personal achievement; it is a reflection of what becomes possible when a university builds meaningful global partnerships and opens doors for its students and staff to engage with the world.
