With the beckoning of a new dawn in KSUSA, a new chapter of student leadership has begun. Today, the Kisii University Independent Electoral Commission was sworn in, entrusted with the noble responsibility of steering the process through which KSUSA Ordinary Members will exercise their democratic right to elect their next leaders. Beyond the ballot and the process lies a deeper lesson: leadership is renewed when people are given the freedom to choose, and democracy flourishes where every voice is respected. At Kisii University, we continue to create safe, inclusive and responsible spaces where dialogue thrives, choices are honoured, and good governance takes root. As a new leadership journey unfolds, may this process remind us that the future is not merely inherited, it is shaped by the choices we make today.
