Today, as we marked the second activity in our 2026 Peace Series, Kisii University students and staff stepped beyond the University gates to join the community in commemorating the  World Clean up Day. It was a simple yet profound reminder that peace is not only found in dialogue and words, but also in the responsibility we take for the spaces we share and the world we collectively call home. At Kisii University, our commitment to an inclusive and borderless world continues to find expression in action. By engaging with global causes and local communities, we are nurturing a culture of responsibility, solidarity and positive change. Tomorrow we finalize our Peace series with a Mega Celebration marking the International Day of Peace.
