3. Biography:
Okeche Pia, is a Lecturer of Peace and Conflict Studies at Kisii University and currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Peace Studies and former Chair of Department. Research interests in Conflict Management, Peace and Youth, Social Justice. Has twenty years University experience in Counselling and Student Welfare Matters. Extensive Academic and Professional background in Conflict Management, Examination and Supervision of Postgraduate Research. Actively engaged in teaching Peace and Conflict Resolution and Development, Negotiation and Post Conflict Rehabilitation, Theory and Practice of Non- Violence, Contemporary Social problems and Youth and Conflict Prevention. Published in International Journal of Educational Research, Researchjournali’s Journal of Education, The International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences amongst others. Engaged in appraisal of researchable publications, Project Implementation and Facilitation of Alternative Conflict Management Mechanisms for sustainable Peace.
