MANDATE (Dean of students)

This Department is mandated to develop, nurture and promote an enabling environment that supports and enhances both academic and developmental pursuits of students.

These include;
     a. Strategic planning, annual work planning and performance contracting.
     b. Registration of first year students.
     c. Orientation of first years.
     d. Elections of student leaders.
     e. Kisii University Student Association, (KSUSA) induction training.
     f.  Preparation and Implementation of KSUSA budget.
     g. Coordinating students cultural awareness and integration week.
     h. Preparation and review of the Students Handbook.
      i. Registration and administration of students clubs and societies.
      j. Coordinating students loans bursaries.
     k.Handling of students demise.
     l. Counselling services
    m. Managing sports and games activities.
     n. Chaplaincy services.
