3.Biography:
Dr. Nancy Kwamboka Momanyi is a distinguished academic and lecturer in the School of Business and Economics at Kisii University, specializing in Tourism and Hospitality. She holds a PhD in Tourism and Hospitality from Maseno University and has an extensive track record of research, with both published and unpublished work presented at international conferences. Dr. Momanyi is an advocate for the role of tourism in promoting the blue economy, particularly in riparian regions. Her leadership and administrative experience, coupled with her scholarly contributions, have significantly advanced tourism education and research in Kenya.

Dr. Nancy Kwamboka Momanyi’s research interests lie in tourism management, international tourism demand, sustainable tourism practices, and the role of tourism in supporting the blue economy, particularly in riparian and coastal regions. Her work focuses on understanding the influence of traveler behavior, economic factors, and government interventions on tourism trends. She is passionate about promoting tourism as a tool for sustainable development, particularly in relation to environmental conservation and community development.
