3. Biography:
Lucy Karani’s career as a lecturer in biomedical sciences (medical immunology) has shaped lives of students. She coordinates AIDS Control Unit Kisii University offering services to the community in HIV/AIDS and mental health. As a member of institutional scientific and ethics review committee (ISERC) Kisii University she enjoys as a researcher to guide research processes. Being a member of Bioethics society of Kenya opened opportunities for her to train in several research fields. She received doctorate degree in Biomedical sciences (Immunology) from Kisii University, Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine from JKUAT and a bachelor's degree in Education from Egerton University.
