3. Biography:
Dr. Pacho is an international educational scientist, distinguished scholar, and consultant of community service learning, global citizenship education, and education for sustainable development with more than ten years of experience in teaching, research, research supervision, writing, consulting, grant writing, resource mobilisation, community service, strategic partnership building, and administration. He has held visiting scholar positions at Middle Tennessee State University (United States), the University of Hamburg (Germany), Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finland), and Leiden University and Utrecht University (Netherlands). He is a fellow member of the African Studies Centre Leiden, a specialist member of the Academic Network on Global Education and Learning, and a member of the African Network for Internationalization of Education among others.

Dr. Pacho’s interdisciplinary research focuses on innovative approaches to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of education. His scholarly interests encompass critical theory, experiential learning, community service learning, global citizenship education, education for sustainable development, education in emergencies, multicultural education, internationalization of higher education, graduate employability, university-industry collaboration, and teacher education and professional development.
