Kisii University, through the Department of Research, Extension, Innovation & Resource Mobilization (REIRM) held a Grant Writing Capacity-building Training for its Academicians. The programme facilitated by the Ministry of Education, State Department for Higher Education and Research aimed at increasing the research operational purview of our academic staff and revealing wider fishing grounds full of opportunities worthy of pursuit. The scholars were equipped with modern tools on Academic Research Grant Writing and various solutions to todays societal challenges.
