Office Of The Registrar (Administration, Human Resource And Central Services)

In accordance with Statute number XI (2) of the Kisii University Statutes, 2020 the of Registrar (Administration, Human Resource and Central Services) shall be responsible for:

  1. working in partnership with academic and administrative units of the University in identification, recruitment, training and performance management of staff;
  2. implementation and application of the University’s human resource development and management policies and regulations;
  3. implementation, application and review of the University’s policies on employment and employee relation issues;
  4. overseeing the following operations in the University in coordination with Schools, Campuses and departments: selection and recruitment of employees, induction and orientation of new employees, training and development of employees, remuneration and employees’ terms of service, managing employee benefits, performance management, employee relations and welfare, management of leave and   employee   records, discipline of employees and payroll management;
  5. ensuring adherence to University rules and regulations;
  6. enforcement of University policies on human resource;
  7. coordinating management and provision of central services that include accommodation, estates, farm, transport and catering.
  8. safe custody of administrative University records;
  9. Overseeing provision of central services in the University

The Department is headed by a Registrar (AHRCS) who is deputized by;

  3. Human Resource Manager: Dr. Eric Onsongo, PhD
