Dr. George O. Nyandoro
Dr. Nyandoro holds a PhD in Literature. He is a Lecturer at the Department of Languages, Linguistics and Literature and the Director SASS Postgraduate Studies.

Background Information

The Department of Postgraduate was constituted to coordinate postgraduate activities in the School of Arts and Social Sciences. These activities include School defenses, seminars, processing of postgraduate students to graduate school and moderation of postgraduate marks.

Calendar of Events

  • School defenses at the main campus every last Tuesday of the month.
  • School seminars every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
  • School defenses at the satellite campuses on a needs basis
  • Moderation of postgraduate marks every end of the semester.


Ongoing activities/Projects

The School is in the process of launching an international bi-annual journal of Social and Human Sciences research.
