Security In Charge 

The Department is charged with the responsibility of providing security services to the University. It is headed by the Security Officer who is assisted by supervisors and other security staff.

The duties of the department include:-
- Protection of University College staff, students and their property within the campus.
- Guarding of University College property
- Investigating cases reported to the department e.g.
- Thefts/Losses
- Assaults
- Missing students from campus
- Gender conflicts

Matters involving the police and any other issues affecting the safety and comfort of students within the University College, students making reports at the Security inquiry desk are advised to consult the Security Officer or any Supervisor whenever they are not satisfied with the services provided at the Department. The Security Department encourages students and any persons living within the University College to avoid risky situations and report any incidents immediately to Security Office for action. The Security appeals to all students to accept security staff as friendly and volunteer any information for their own safety.
