The office of the Deputy VC (Academic Affairs) partners with the Faculty, Chairs of Department, Deans of Faculty, Staff and other Kisii University personnel to ensure that the institutional mission remains dynamic and relevant in the day-to-day experiences of our students. It is charged with the responsibility of providing policy guidelines on planning, development and management of academic programmes, development and design of curricula, ensuring quality teaching and assessment of student, and overseeing the administration of student welfare services among others.

Through the office of the Academic Registrar, the Deputy Principal AA provides services to students regarding student records, examinations and their assessment, advice and management of complaints, appeals and discipline. It is further responsible for administration matters related to student enrolment. Students are advised to consult the Registrar Academics whenever they have problems related to the above mentioned functions.
