CAREER OBJECTIVE

 

To expand skills and experience within the organizational behaviour field of management in the society

 

PROFILE SUMMARY

 

An organizational management scholar and researcher in practice with both classroom and industry experience, currently I lecture at the leading business school in Kenya. I addition I have consulted in the areas of organizational strategy, performance management, project and programme management in both advisory and training capacities.

 

RESEARCH INTEREST 

 

My research interests lie in developing and testing basic models used in management and especially in: organizational behaviour, Human Resource management, sociology, project management and innovation; and application of quantitative techniques and systems concepts to complex (real life) problems.

RESEARCH CONDUCTED

 

I undertook an undergraduate  research on the effect of child labour on primary school enrolment  with special emphasis on free primary education; a case study of Kesses Division of Uasin Gishu District

 

I undertook a postgraduate research an assessment of the effects of over commitment of employee   salary on job performance; a case of administration Police in Kisii Central District”

 

Currently undertaking my PHD research thesis proposal  entitled  “ an  assessment of  the effect of management development strategies on service delivery  mong university teaching staff, a case of Kisii University.

Participated in a 2 day training on leadership Relationship by career placement development office in collaboration with the consortium of international and professional association (CIPA-MU)

 

Actively participated in the annual moi university political science conference under the theme; security issues in Kenya and the horn of Africa

 

                                                                                               

Participated in a seminar organized by the Kenya Human Rights commission with the theme; towards a just economic order

 

Participated in a refuge welfare training which was facilitated by centre for conflict resolution Kenya, the theme sinews of hope and peace
