| Our goal in admissions and financial aid is clear: We want to bring the best people to KISII UNVERSITY, regardless of their ability to pay — and we do. Our students can access scholarships, merit awards and work study programme and bursaries. Merit Wards They are determined according to academic achievement, leadership, artistic talent, or other personal qualities that distinguish you in the applicant pool. Merit-based aid doesn't consider you or your family's financial situation. As a prospective student, you are required to fill out an additional scholarship application form; we evaluate all applicants for merit-based aid. We award scholarships to students who are above average in our applicant pool. One of the measures is your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Certificate Education (KCSE) score. Work Study Program KISII UNVERSITY recognizes bright but needy students who are engaged in a work study program. The students offer their services to the assigned departments during their free time and in turn get partial to full waiver on their tuition fees. In the process they also get some work experience. KISII UNVERSITY invites applications for this programme through the Dean of students office. Eligibility for this aid is determined by the amount of financial need you have.
